We know that there are many good yoga teacher training courses. So why train with us?

Teaching since 2001 and have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
We offer a broad, full spectrum and intelligent approach to the practise and teaching of yoga.
During the 8 months of the teacher training in Bristol you will deepen your practise and knowledge of the science of yoga.
Drawing on the full spectrum of yoga including anatomy, physiology, philosophy, mantra and various modes of teaching asana – we will teach and guide you in developing your own teaching voice and develop your creativity in how to plan, sequence and deliver a class.
You will have to think for yourself.
We will teach you how to teach asana, pranayama, meditation and simple mantras

We ask of our students what we ask of ourselves. Work hard, practise, ask yourself lots of questions and then enquire some more. We have a rigorous self practice and understand that this is the most important aspect if you wish to teach. You need to intimately know your subject matter, not through text books, but in yourself, through experience.

What method of yoga is this course?

When you have taught for many years and have experienced teaching through the passage of time, you have something that nobody can give you - experience. One of the things you realise is that you need to have many arrows in your quiver with regards to teaching yoga asana. Different bodies and ages require different approaches.

Asana can be performed in different methods: Vinyasa (One pose after another), Mala (different poses inserted into Surya Namaskar) or holding each pose for a period of time. In this course you will learn in-depth knowledge on the technique and adjustments of individual poses. You’ll practice them to intimately understand them. With this knowledge you will be equipped to teach these poses in all the aforementioned methods, with knowledge on which asanas compliment each other when sequencing.

We teach hatha yoga. It can be served up in different forms as mentioned above. A strong aligned Vinyasa sequence, a class of static poses, a restorative class.

You need to know your ingredients to cook a good meal!
