Dory Walker & Gita Nicola Schneider
Dory and Rory are experienced teachers, educators and mentors who embody the full transformative expression of Yoga. We have supported 1000’s of Yoga practitioners and teachers with their practice. Teaching Yoga full time for over 22 years and practising for many years before that, we are direct students of some of the worlds leading authorities on asana, pranayama, meditation, Vedic chanting and embodiment practices. Running teacher training programmes, international retreats and leading workshops, circles and mentorships, our personal Sadhana practice is at the heart of everything we do. Transformation from practice can positively shape every aspect of your life. We’d love to work with you.
Gita is a medicine woman and shamanic teacher.
The best way to know her is to sit with her in circle. To share ideas, experience, song, dance, silence and ritual. She will share with you the parts of her journey which have awakened her connection with the ancient wisdom held in the rhythms and cycles of nature. Gita strongely believes that everybody should be doing what they are passionate about. This Gita believes begins with knowing who you are. She is here to support you to find your place in life and own your gift, to ignite your journey into transformation and create connection to nature’s wisdom. Deepening her connection to the cycles of nature has been a natural progression. Gita has been holding circles and journey groups, creating rituals and shared ceremonies for over 40 years now.
”Both Rory and Dory are such exceptional teachers; their knowledge, wisdom and understanding (both of the anatomy of yoga and the philosophy) shines through”
Tabitha, Yoga Teacher

Sweat Lodge Ceremony
Transformation happens in energetic held spaces. Sweat lodge is a purification and healing ceremony, a safe space to sit in sacred circle with the elements and each other. Through prayer, song, and inner journey you are guided to dive deep and connect to ancient wisdom to create transformation and invite balance and wellbeing.
Location
Just five miles from Glastonbury, on the edge of Compton Dundon village in Somerset, EarthSpirit lies within the 'temenos' (sacred enclosure) of Avalon. The venue is situated in a beautiful landscape between two nature reserves; and just two minutes walk from St Andrew's church, which has within its cemetery a yew tree of 1,800 years old. The seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.
