This live training
will give you brand new insights, proper understanding, clear methods and techniques to develop your best shoulder-stand practice.

Like many other inversions, part of the puzzle is understanding exactly what is required and knowing the best possible techniques.

A certain amount of energy is needed. But it’s nearly always nowhere near what you think. When you work with a more effective technique you reduce the physical effort required.

This course will share the exact steps and process, through all 4 phases of shoulder-stand, so you can build your most comfortable practice.

We are all built differently. There are things you can do to create a more effective practise based on your unique body anatomy. Whilst the essence of the posture is the same for all of us, the way you go about it can be adapted to each body type.

Having taught 1000’s of teachers and students over the past decade, one of the key reasons so many struggle is down to their current technique and understanding.

The method taught in this training optimises every aspect of the practice so no stone is left unturned. You’ll gain a complete understanding of exactly what is required and where you need to spend more of your focus.

Shoulder-stand and Headstand are often practised one after the other in classical asana (headstand first). But shoulder-stand is usually learnt first as it’s an amazing practice to strengthen the back, preparing the foundations for headstand.

It can be a very soothing and calming asana (once you have the right technique and set-up), the perfect partner to headstand. It’s often described as the Queen or mother asana.

“Rory’s teaching of asanas is from the heart. Backed up by years of practice, patience and passion you’ll be inspired by his enthusiasm and vast knowledge.  He exudes calm and authenticity with each student the focus of his offering. Your body, mind and soul will thank you for being under his care and guidance ”.
