These are our general retreat terms & conditions for Yogakutir LTD

Our cancellation policy
Cancellation by a consumer. 
Yogakutir LTD is entitled to keep a reasonable amount, the deposit payment (50% of the full cost), to cover any expenses incurred as a result of your cancellation. The deposit can be transferred to another Yogakutir LTD retreat (within the next 12 months) if notification is given more than 90 days beforehand.

Transfer by a consumer. 
If any person is prevented from joining a retreat, Yogakutir LTD will agree to that person’s booking being transferred to another person who satisfies all the conditions, subject to both persons accepting joint and several liability for full payment of the cost. Yogakutir LTD must be given reasonable notice of the transfer request, which is considered to be at least 90 days prior to the retreat date.

The deposit (50% of the full cost) is non-refundable. If you cancel 90 days before arrival (start date of the retreat) and have paid in full, we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 90 days before arrival, we will charge 100% of total cost. This does not affect your legal right to transfer your booking to another person in certain circumstances.

Cancellation by Yogakutir LTD. 
In the unlikely event that Yogakutir LTD has to cancel your retreat for no fault of your own, we will notify you as quickly as possible and we will compensate you for any loss reasonably incurred by you as a result of our cancellation. The consumer is entitled to take an equivalent, superior or lower cost substitute retreat (if we are able to offer you one). We will always refund the difference in price if the replacement retreat is of a lower cost.

Yogakutir LTD is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreats such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

The consumer is entitled to compensation by Yogakutir LTD except:
a. When the number of persons is less than the required minimum of 8, providing you are notified of this 30 days beforehand.
b. When the holiday is cancelled due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Yogakutir LTD.

The alteration of some amenities might take place due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness or other situations outside our control. 

Flight confirmation and insurance.
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight times with your airline before your outward and return journey.

You must have travel insurance in place from the moment you pay your deposit to reserve your place on a retreat.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of private travel insurance for both UK and overseas travel with protection for the full duration of the retreat in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover.

You are responsible for arranging full travel insurance which should cover you for the activities you plan to undertake and have adequate cover for travel delay, cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and your personal belongings and all Covid related changes to plans. 

Your policy should include cover for any medical claim due to Coronavirus and cancellation due to you falling ill with Coronavirus or being unable to travel or being required to self-isolate. Your insurance should also cover early trip cancellation for Covid-19 reasons such as testing positive, needing to isolate or going home early. 

Exclusions of liability

• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.

• Participants' medical or psychiatric/emotional conditions which may become apparent through practising yoga daily on a Yogakutir retreat.

• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.

Photo / Video Release – Use of Image
You hereby grant to Yogakutir LTD has the absolute and irrevocable right, and unrestricted permissions to use photographic portraits/images/videos in which you feature that are taken during the retreat to use/republish/copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Yogakutir LTD. You hereby release and discharge Yogakutir LTD from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

Complaints
We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat. If you feel that a complaint is warranted you must raise the issue directly with our Director. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to Yogakutir LTD within 14 days of the end of your retreat.

By booking any retreat with Us you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.
