The Wealth of Yoga®

Meditation expert training

with Dory Walker

40 hour LIVE ONLINE Course
January - June 2023

Meditation is needed more than ever. Your ability to anchor into stillness, even and especially in times of uncertainly will change how you experience life.

Collectively stress levels are high, meditation as an integral part of your yoga classes is needed more than ever as a balm to the collective parasympathetic nervous system. Meditative practices increase your powers of intuition, reduce stress responses in the body and open you to the infinite inner realms of expanded consciousness.

The wealth of yoga lies in the inner limb practices

How would it feel to enrich your practice and teaching embodying the inner limbs of yoga ?

Have you completed Yoga Teacher Training yet are still not sure about Dharana practices, even though you know it’s a vital and integral part of the 8 limbs ?

You feel that diving deeply into the inner limbs hold gold and you’re ready to alchemise your personal Sadhana and enrich your teaching.

Yoga is first and foremost experiential and Dharana, concentration is the gateway to states of absorption.

Direct experience and perception leads to embodied knowledge. Open the portal to expanded consciousness.

Inner limb sadhana develops a deep connection to and appreciation of silence and an experience beyond the intellect.

Your energy is your legacy, so your willingness to go deeper into the energetics of yoga holds the keys to alchemy.

Be part of a tidal wave of positive change that is sweeping the planet, stand firmly in your Sovereignty, practice and teach the whole wealth of yoga.

If you want to keep expanding your practice and teaching you have to keep expanding YOU.

A journey from the outer to inner, from the gross to the subtle from ‘Avidya’ to ‘Vidya’ (not seeing to seeing) yoga is the practice, the journey and the goal.

Dharana practices fine tune your ability to perceive energy, and embody higher frequencies of consciousness.

If you want to truly alchemise in the transformative powers of yoga you have to enlist the energy body, body of light and lean into your inherent gold frequency. This is the wealth of yoga.

“ Yoga citta vritta nirodhah” 1.2 PYS tells us clearly that for YOGA to take place you have to work with the mind. Meditation practices do just that.

Dharana practices that allow you to be witness to the habituated patterns of the mind open the door to the subconscious. We know that repetition is one of the keys to neuroplasticity and neuroplasticity allows you to consciously reprogram your mind.

Open to more calm, peace, equanimity and share this with others.

Ancient Tantric meditation techniques from Nyasa to mantra repetition, psychic pathways and energy channels in the body unlock keys to your embodiment, psychic and intuitive powers.

Build a meditation practice or deepen an existing one as you learn to guide others in dharana and enrich the wealth of yoga you have to share.

Immerse yourself in meditative practices supported by a wealth of resources as you journey into the heart of yoga, tapping your infinite potential.

Over 40 hrs you will systematically practice, explore and learn to guide others.

Plus integrate the practices through yoga nidra as you study the theory of meditation, raja yoga and techniques to reprogram the mind.

Enjoy life time access to the course material and recordings.

Tantric, Vedic and Mantra Meditation

Meditation is a state of absorption. There are different concentration ’techniques’ that prime you to experience meditative states.

Tantra means to weave, or woven together. Tantric meditation practices therefore employ a variety of ‘objects’ of meditation.

It may be the breath, an energy pathway, an energetic centre, a visualised object or symbol. Often a tantric meditation practice may weave various objects of concentration together.

For example you may focus on a chakra, visualise a symbol, while concentrating on the breath or repeating a mantra.

Tantric practices deal with ‘weaving’ the physical with the spiritual. Tantra is the warp and weft of the tapestry of life.

Vedic meditative practices come from the Vedas, the most ancient wisdom texts to come out of India. Vedic meditation techniques use Sanskrit mantras as the object of meditation to focus the mind and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

Mantra meditation is much like Vedic meditation in that it employs a ‘mantra’ as the object of meditation but not necessarily in Sanskrit.

Dory Walker

Dory has been immersing herself in meditative practices for over 25 years.

But the curiosity to the link between mind, breath, mantra and movement started way before that.

She remembers around age 10 reading a book on meditation that suggested counting the breath and repeating simple mantras. Which Dory then took up on her morning walk to the school bus…

Age 22 Dory completed her first yoga teacher training, before going on to do another age 24. Both these trainings included Vedic Mantra Meditation techniques which were a daily immersive part of the programmes.
Over the following 7 years Dory spent at least 6 months of each year living in ashrams. Meditation and mantra repetition becoming a daily part of her life.

During this time Dory developed an interest in exploring various buddhist approaches to meditation sitting several 10 day Vipassana retreats and attended a 3 weeks immersion at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village in France exploring neuroscience and the mind of the buddha.

Later Dory went on to study Tantric meditation techniques and also completed trainings in this field.

Dory continues to immerse herself in meditative practice and is passionate to share this with others to live the most awake and intimate life possible.

She has two daughters and currently lives in Bristol, UK.

”Both Rory and Dory are such exceptional teachers; their knowledge, wisdom and understanding (both of the anatomy of yoga and the philosophy) shines through”
Tabitha, Yoga Teacher
